After installing NIC on server verify NIC is detected or not if it is detected wait for ESXi to boot, check the status of NIC (eth0 and eth1), check server in GUI, try to create vSwitch and add new NIC, if not driver you need to download from Intel site and using Power CLI or vMA you can install driver for new NIC.
