You say Ubuntu 10.2 however that is not a legitimate build number, so what version of Ubuntu are you using?
Might you have meant Ubuntu 10.04.2?
What is the output of the following command in a Terminal: lsb_release -a
If all that is missing are the kernel headers you can install them using the following command in a Terminal:
sudo apt-get install linux-headers-$(uname -r)
