Just installed 8.0.0-471780, and have been pleasantly surprised by the improvements in Unity compared to 7.1.4.
But it seems that a feature has been removed: when an application wants to go fullscreen, Unity immediately terminates and drops the VM back into windowed mode. If I try to re-enable it, I get the message:
"The virtual machine cannot enter Unity mode because: A full screen application is running in the guest."
This worked beautifully in 7.1.4. Is anyone else having this issue, or know why this changed? Any insight is much appreciated!
Host is an Intel i7-920 running 64-bit Win7; guest is 32-bit XP Pro.
what is your screen resolution ?
Have you install addon vm tool ?
